Dominican Life

Study

"A Dominican should love to study and study to love".

Timothy Radcliffe, Master of the Order of Preachers 1993-2001

Each Sister is responsible to keep current in her study of scripture, theology, the documents of the Church, and such disciplines as are required for her ministry and personal growth. Such study, which leads to integration of life and ministry, is more urgent today in an age of rapidly increasing and complex knowledge. The discipline of regular study is essential for faithfulness to our Dominican heritage. (Constitution, 24-25.)
